Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is a health care profession based on interactions of the spine and nervous system, as well as the surrounding muscles. Doctors of Chiropractic (also known as chiropractors) focus on non-invasive, drug-free treatments for a variety of systems and conditions that may include:
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Sciatica
- Headaches and migraines
- Joint pain, strains and sprains
- Soft tissue disorders
Note: This list is not inclusive of every spinal condition treated with chiropractic care. Talk directly with a chiropractor to determine if he or she treats your specific spinal condition.
Chiropractic care is an important tool that helps you get back to enjoying life. Beyond reducing pain, spinal adjustments enhance the ability of the nervous system to function at an optimal level.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the core modality within the practice of Chinese medicine. It involves the insertion of thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate blood movement, improve nerve conductivity, restore function, or enhance balance. Acupuncture is known to provide relief for a wide range of conditions, including:
- Pain management

- Respiratory conditions
There is a range of acupuncture techniques, such as acupuncture with electric stimulation, bloodletting, and trigger therapy release. There is also a ranch of approaches such as meridians (peripheral nervous system), microsystems, scalp, post-stroke, bone needling, and nerve release. To determine the best course of action, Chinese medical acupuncturists will engage in basic questions and advanced assessment to establish a differential diagnosis.
Massage Therapy
In massage therapy, a massage therapist rubs and kneads the soft tissues of your body. The soft tissues include muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin. The massage therapist varies the amount of pressure and movement. Massage is part of integrative medicine. Medical centers often offer it with standard treatment. It can be used for a wide range of medical conditions.
- Help reduce stress.
- Lessen pain and muscle tightness.
- Increase relaxation.
- Improve the work of the immune system.
Physical Therapy

In many cases, it is considered a conservative approach to dealing with various musculoskeletal problems. Physical therapists are health professionals who use targeted techniques and treatments to restore mobility, improve range of motion, decrease pain, and improve physical function.
